Imagine if Trump used a tweet to accuse bitcoin of aiding a terrorist attack. I think that would definitely tank the price. Although, it would probably recover fairly quickly, because IMO part of the recent bull run was due to uncertainty and fear over Trump getting elected. Cryptocurrencies seem to benefit from general world chaos.

Bitcoin price is determined at the exchanges that trade phantom bitcoins at leverage by automated trading programs.
So of course whatever bad things donald trump says about bitcoin can tank it.
A normal market by normal people like you and me wouldn't be trading everything we have in and out in an instant just because some politician says something that he can change his mind later.
