I learned a nice lesson buying some gift cards. First never buy a card that's linked to your account. Like if you're buying a amazon gift card( or whatever) and want to use it; makes sure it's not linked to you. The card may be approved but later on you will end up paying that money back because the gift card numbers came up under a fraud list of gift cards. Only buy a card that can be used for payment and then discarded. Im sure some people on here get the cards the right way but some may not and you don't want to be stuck paying money back after they take back the money and ban your personal accounts. Well i guess this could be easily prevented by not dealing with non-trusted newbie/member users. They generally don't know 100% what they are selling, and they usually offer terrible support..
Especially if it is about large amounts.
I see lots of people getting scammed by this, because even if they use escrow, they'll get fucked over later on, and the seller is nowhere to be found.
It seems this also happend in your case, am i correct? Have you already opened a dispute to get a refund from said user which sold you the cards?
