Coinotron shares not accepting through stratum proxy.

Hey guys,
Not sure if I'm doing something wrong here or if my machines are just too slow.
I have a Coinotron account mining Litecoins.
My GPU mining is registering fine on the account and I can see my contribution to that.
However, I am also doing CPU mining on my machines at work and they dont seem to be registering at all.
I am using the stratum proxy and I can see it connecting, getting work etc and the workers are getting the work from it and seem to processing fine.
I've got in total 24 cpus all processing at average 5 KH/s but nothing is showing up on the site and none of the workers are giving accepted or rejected messages.
Is there something I'm doing wrong or are the blocks simply changing so fast that the work I am doing is becoming stale before its even submitted?
