This is a topic where you can discuss Millionbitpage.com

As of the moment the average price per pixel is very very low (smaller than 0.0001), so you can purchase pixels for your forum avatars using your Bitcoin change and et cetera.

I'm sure most of you heard about the Million Dollar Webpage, well this is the Bitcoin take on the idea, you can purchase any number of pixels for a really small price, after going through an automatic process the image will appear within seconds after your payment is received, after that another person can "outbid" your pixels if he pays (Price multiplier) times the amount it cost you and so on. This gives the service a "life" and a natural evolution.

I think I have used Bitcoins quite efficiently within this project.

I am also here listening to suggestions as always so I've decided to open a topic in "Service Discussion"!

The problem here is that you're greedy and stupid.

after your payment is received, after that another person can "outbid" your pixels if he pays (Price multiplier) times the amount it cost you and so on. This gives the service a "life" and a natural evolution

The original gimmick you're copying (not particularly intelligent, copying something, not particularly intelligent, copying a gimmick of all things) was fundamentally based on people misrepresenting the value of "forever". You've taken that away (stupid) to replace it with a sort of "Bitcoin Gem" implementation (greedy).

Now consider this exchange:

Woohoo, first day announced and already got ripped on by MPOE-PR got to pat myself on the back for that achievement.

Tell me MPOE-PR is that avatar yours or one of the strippers you've paid with Bitcoins? Because if it is I WILL take you out on a date as long as you don't bite.

btw milliondollarbitcoinhomepage.com is not mine so I don't see any references to my website. Also milliondollarbitcoinhomepage.com uses a common script that has been used a thousand times before and they process transactions manually and you can buy a minimum of 10 pixels for 100$ and the owner believes marketing will happen by itself or that someone will just throw the first hundred down that well and hope for the best. Generic, unrelated and a subtier idea, concept and execution.

If someone wanted to post a "Fuck you" on my page it would be rather cheap and easy.

You've got some reading to do.

It would be a great idea if bitcoin had been invented in 1993 and this was now 1996.

Bitcoin: An Idea Worth Spending

I wonder if the idea stemmed from here:

Yes, you will worry about chargebacks, because it takes some scammer 2 minutes to find a not frequently used proxy (but still used), log into paypal, and then dispute a couple of hours later.

I had a feeling I missing something but opted to toss it out there none the same.

But, still thinking outside the box...

The original idea is one ugly looking static cluster fuck. What if somehow you sold the pixels making the overall look pleasing to the eye, coupled with the ability for the holder of the pixels to be able to sell them to some other entity, thus having an opportunity for all concerns to profit as well? (all via bitcoin, of course) Then, you'll have an ever changing fluid site.

But probably not, now that I see the timestamps are different. When I penned the above, I had no idea that it was already implemented elsewhere, assuming it was an original idea, and yes the gem idea was my inspiration.

You do need to put more work into it rather than making minor changes to existing idea and trying to earn from there. It is innovation that gives business a boost, not imitation.
