there's a separate board for mining discussions. as for pools i have used a few, hashparty.io is good when they are up and electromine.fr, says they have spam protection, both have good hashrates, but the largest hashrate comes from nicehash.

as for wallets, github.com/electroneum under release. it's a bit complicated to use, basically run electroneumd.exe and that will download the blockchain, leave it running, then you need to run electroneum-wallet-cli.exe. to import your paper wallet run with this argument, --generate-from-keys You_Wallet_Name.bin. then it will ask for address, private key, view key, and password and then it will update your wallet to the current block. to send etn to cryptopia use the command, transfer Cryptopia_ETN_Address amount Cryptopia_ETN_PaymentID, you will have to try a few amounts before it goes through, i do about 3 etn below my available balance to account for the fees. other useful commands, balance, show_transfers.

electroneum has been good to me so far. i hope it continues after the initial sell-off.

I mined on hashparty.io and they send me about 1000 ETN. I checked on the blockchain explorer using my private viewKey and I can see that they actually did transfer to my ETN address.

The problem is, I don't see anything in my wallet. My balance is 0 24hours after the transfers.

Is it normal?

I don't think the mining platform is up and running on mobile phones, though I still have my doubt on this project but it is a very interesting project to watch put for

It can take a really long time for the transaction to come through, like 16h. The blockchain is also behaving erratically, sometimes nothing happens for hours. I'd advise against mining ETN atm, the numbers may look OK but the uptime is sketchy.

Electroneum is false mining and such it is giving you the false sense of your achievement. Smartphone cant mine! It is just virtual mining that is showing you income that you think you earned but in fact, i think it is given randomly. If you want to mine use your computer or ASIC miner and be a real miner. This way of mining will destroy your smartphone in no time.

Hi guys!

The Electroneum mining software is fucking broken. I've submitted over 5 million hashes, and I've only received 53 Electroneum, which I can't cash out (minimum payout 100 ETN). After a day of mining, it said that I had 800+ shares, but when I check on the Electroneum site, it hasn't gone up a single ETN?!!?! This makes me crazy since I see people getting payments of 1000+ ETN every minute!! And in my pool (EU), it says that the hash rate is 1.45 MH/s and next to it it says "Electroneum Pool Network" and that's got 70 MH/s?!?!? How do I join that pool? It's so fucking unfair because I don't even receive any coins, no matter what and how hard I try. Many others also have this issue, and it's pissing me off. Is there something wrong with my software, or my pool? I'm using the Electroneum Pool Miner V1.1 BETA, the EU pool region, and 3333 mining port.

Thanks, n0c4

Hi

Warning about Electroneum. Stay out of it, is my recommendation.

Today started to mine Electroneum also. At first, everything looked normal on etn.nanopool.org. I have 2* Rx Vega 56 cards mining and XMR-Stak shows about 3200hs total which is normal for cryptonite. Also the pool dashboard showed normal hashrates around 3200 for a while (I know that pool dashboards can never be very accurate). But suddenly the hashrate started to drop and its now about 1800 on the pool dahsboard, but on my miner still stable 3200. So half of the hashes are going somewhere? I have mined many months Monero on a same pool (nanopool.org) and with Monero havn't had any problems. I really know that the pool dashboard can sometimes show 30% more or about 30% less what you are actually mining, but this is stable -50% with electroneum.
So I guess this electroneum thing is a scam, it must have someone to manipulate it. I will go back to Monero even it is starting to get too difficult.

Electroneum is not a scam, please supply actual proof before slandering a coin. It my opinion, your scam claim is heresay, the coin will pop once they work out the details of the mobile wallet. Those who wish to snooze on this coin will lose in 2018.

Electroneum is not a scam, please supply actual proof before slandering a coin. It my opinion, your scam claim is heresay driven by personal emotion, the coin will pop once they work out the details of the mobile wallet. Those who wish to snooze on this coin will lose in 2018. I have personally mined on our rigs and got paid out with no issues.

Funny to read some people calling this coin a scam and complaining about mobile mining. They clearly have not read the whitepaper and know what ETN wants to do.

They raised 100 million in the ICO, they postponed the launch because of security issues that they needed to solve first, they hired the HackerOne company which is not cheap so they clearly are looking out for their users and are serious about their coin.
They launched when everything was secure and ready, people on facebook, twitter, podcasts youtube video's, no hiding their identities, all is out in the open. They have the best intentions and truly believe in their coin.

They are one of the few ho have actually showed a very detailed plan of 2018 for their coin and how they plan to invest their money. Before they got those 100 million they managed to sign up almost half a million people and made 110.000 people invest. Imagine what they can do with 100 million to advertise this thing.

In january they will activate the mobile miner, which is a simulation so it won't drain your battery or make your phone melt in your hands. You can earn coins by using it and it will be the greatest introduction for non-tech savy people in the world of crypto.
You can install the free app on your mothers phone, show her how to mine and how to make transactions to you.  It will do great things for the crypto community.

Even Duncan Logan, CEO of RocketSpace and many other succesfull comapnies is backing it. Today John Macaffee twittered about it as a potenial good crypto investment, because he sees it as well.
