Hello big bad bitcoin world! Well, the altcoin world that is... I view this part of my mining "career" as more of a hobbyist than a profitminer.
I currently spend my time cruising garage sales and goodwills for old school parts... yes some have pre-dated even the sata cables and still have an ISA slot kids. if you don't know what I'm talking about its fine, you most likely hadn't been born.

I have 4 boxes running at the moment:

dual-p3 600mhz slot1 is runing winXPblack and scryptmining at 0.6 khash/sec.
The last powercycle happened after 10 days running at 100% cpu and mining successfully from the FC Geek pool http://feathercoin.is-a-geek.com/

My "5 dollar box" from the goodwill, cleaned it out the other day and it runs like a champ I paid for it by weight.
It sports an AMD althlon 3200+ 2.2ghz San Diego running win7-64bit and mining at 1.8 Khash/sec on the FC geek pool.

Intel pen4 506 at 2.4ghz has been the most problematic.  Its "on loan" from a past due housemate.
Its running GUI-miner on https://coinotron.com and can mine Bitcoin / Freicoin / Terracoins / PPCoin roughly 2.3mhash/sec
While mining on GUI-miner I can also run the FC wallet minerd on the cpu for 0.6 khash/sec

The last is the welterweight gamer. intel q6600 quad OC'ed to 3.0ghz. Nvidia 650ti OC'ed to 1.6ghz/gpu
It also runs GUI-Miner on https://coinotron.com mining Bitcoin / Freicoin / Terracoins / PPCoin for a total of 52.0/mhash/sec
Cpu FC mines at roughly 17khash/sec

I live in oregon, power is cheap and this is my alt to heat in the winter. It has a dual purpose so before you get to bashing or bragging remember that coin mining is not the primary function of this(these) devices. Top that you power efficiency nerds.
