I wonder how many people here have heard of the channel Holy Koolaid on Youtube. A few weeks ago Thomas has posted that changes in the way Youtube pay for ads has really made a dent on his income. Apparently he moved somewhere in Asia so he can live cheaper while doing his online work full time.  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BP8mSkYLWgg&lc=z13zs1l5vyusdjzek22qxtrbdousclcyc04.1494021338309487

Just now he posted that he finally got a bitcoin address to receive donations. http://www.holykoolaid.com/bitcoin/

I do find his vids amusing and they're definitely one of the milder channels along that line. I can't donate though so I'm thinking I might post this here in case anyone's interested. Maybe Moloch would?

Interesting channel indeed. Bitcoin might not be the best way to support him though. I've never donated to any Youtuber before so I went in the exchange where I keep some coin to see how much it'll cost. To send a dollar, I'd also have to throw in 87 cents. A dollar is already a full meal in my country so to see a fee as high as that was ridiculous to me. If only microtransactions are still convenient.

It seems it's just not him, but other Youtubers too got hit by this. Well, looks like the days of earning a stable income from Youtube is over.

Although Jones used poisoned Flavor Aid, the drink mix was also commonly referred to as Kool-Aid. This has led to the phrase "Drinking the Kool-Aid", referring to a person or group holding an unquestioned belief, argument, or philosophy without critical examination.

Cool

Cure your cancer at home. Ivermectin, fenbendazole, methylene blue, and hydroxychloroquine (HCQ) are chief among parasite drugs. Cool

Sad though, not all of those people voluntarily drank the Kool-Aid. Guess that's more reason to be wary of self-titled "visionaries". That shit that happened there must not happen again.  Cry
