You can get used coins fairly cheap on the 1 and 5s.  Mike sold the 5s unused in rolls so there are a bunch of them.  The 25s are a bit more due to the numbers made not being as high as the 1s and 5s too.  Im sure you can puck some up here.

The best way to find market price is an auction so I started this one:

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1917685.0

Let's see what develops.

Hi..Can somone please tell me the going rates of unloaded Casascius coins? Example 1Btc..5 Btc and 25 BTC? Any ideas? Looking to expand my collection. Thanks

You should be able to find blank/redeemed 1BTC and 5BTC Casascius coins from $200 or less...
I know there are a couple ebay sellers who have some from time to time.

I think the last redeemed 25 went for around 1BTC, but that was when it was much lower... will see if I can find the old thread Cheesy

thanks

For some I would think if it's peeled it would matter how intact the hologram is.

Will be watching your auction LC, that's definitely a proper way to assess value.  Smiley

I thought that the value of a redeemed brass 1 BTC cas with hologram, and possibly clams was between $20-$25.
