Is it safe to restore a wallet.dat into a fully loaded block chains by using -rescan option

Lets say I have two wallet, one for my savings and the other for day to day transactions.

I only used my savings wallet once for the creation, then I made a backup of it.

Now couple weeks or months later I want to restore it and buy some stuff.

Can I just place it in %appdata% where the block chains is already downloaded?

The block chain is seprate for wallet.dat, but yes, the two wallet.dats should be interchangeable.

Yes. Just make sure not to overwrite the other wallet and lose it!

You don't even need to rescan if you're using a client after 0.3.21.

Ok thanks!

Don't worry I won't overwrite it!

I am currently building a LiveCD for secure Transactions.

Should be release soon.
