Whats everyone thinking?

I haven't heard any official word from Bittrex if they are going to give you Zencash. However, you only have a day or so to decide if you are going to hold your coins on Bittrex or transfer them to a Zclassic wallet. At block 100,000, they are taking a snapshot, and anyone who holds Zclassic will get Zencash in May. Block 100,000 is happening in a day or so. So, it is wise to take your coins off the exchange, and store them yourself. Youtuber Crytp0 made a video on how to create a Zclassic wallet.

From Zencash webpage and forum:

There is nothing happening at block 100,000.

Zen Launches During Consensus NYC on May 23

Zen will launch as a fork of ZClassic. Inspired by Ethereum Classic’s fork from Ethereum, all existing ZClassic holders will receive an equal amount of Zen at launch. This is a demonstration of the support of the community for both coins going forward. The Zen team is working with select Exchanges to assist in this process, and will announce the specific ways to make sure Zen coins are awarded 1-for-1 with existing ZClassic.

Zen launches on Tuesday, May 23nd at 10 pm Eastern. By that time there will be many other elements of the launch in place. This includes:

Verified exchange support
Linux wallet and roadmap for other wallets
Node specifications and configuration instructions
Mining pool applications
This is an exciting time! Bitcoin has shown everyone what is possible with cryptocurrency, Zcash developed truly secure transactions, Dash demonstrated how developers and node operators should be rewarded with funding along with the miners, Decred showed a sustainable model for governance.

Zen is a truly revolutionary platform that takes the best from other crypto-currencies and adds secure communications, secure resilient nodes, and a governance organization to enable continued improvement forever!

If you would like to be part of the Zen movement, come find out more and become part of the community at zencash.io.

Can I invest in Zen prior to launch?

Yes. Anyone who holds Zclassic prior to the launch on May 23rd will be given a 1:1 credit of Zen. This is a result of the Zen genesis originating from the Zclassic blockchain.

I am an early Zclassic investor, what does this mean to me?

Anyone who holds Zclassic prior to the launch on May 23rd, 2017 will be allocated a 1:1 amount of Zen automatically. Simply import your private keys into the new Zen wallet to redeem your tokens. We are also working with the various exchanges to ensure everyone will be credited appropriately on their platforms.

Here'e the more direct link.  https://bittrex.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/articles/115000201171-Support-for-the-ZEN-Hardfork
It appears Bittrex is impressed by both ZCL & ZEN teams.  Good sign!

Text from Bittrex page above -

"Support for the ZEN Hardfork
Note: The estimated time of the fork block is now 8 hours earlier due to increased hash power on the network.  We've also updated the time we are shutting down the market and wallet.

The ZenCash (ZEN) network is anticipated to launch on May 23rd at 5pm PDT (0:00 UTC) as a hard fork from Zclassic (ZCL).  Bittrex users will be credited 1 ZEN for each Zclassic (ZCL) held in their exchange accounts at Zclassic block 110,000.  The block is estimated to occur at approximately 11:10 PDT (18:10 UTC)  5/18/2017.

Bittrex will credit the ZEN tokens and enable the market when we and the ZEN team agree the new proof of work mining network is stable. The ZCL market will be re-enabled and all orders cancelled within 24 hours after the fork block.

Note: Bittrex will be closing our ZCL wallet and market within two hours of the fork block to take accurate snapshots of balances. If your deposits are not settled (e.g. marked as pending) by 09:00 PDT 5/18/2017, you may not be credited with ZEN.

Please note that the full 3 day gap between block 110,000 and the May 23rd launch will be used to generate and distribute the ZenCash genesis block, which importantly implements replay attack mitigation in the new client release.

We would like to thank the ZEN team for working closely with us and addressing our concerns.  Distribution through hard forks like this one are not typically supported by Bittrex but strong replay protection and a commitment by both teams to maintain the ZCL and ZEN forks and their independent missions swayed our decision making.

The Zen team has put out a detailed description of the process:
