Title says it all. I'm working on an illustration and wanted to include some relative figures for bitcoin. This illustration will probably be viewed by millions of people over the next year. Unfortunately, Satoshi wasn't kind enough to let us know who he was or what he looked like, so I'm forced to look deeper than than into cryptography, e-cash, hashcash, etc in general.

Who do you think represents the fundementals of bitcoin (cryptography, economics, politics, open source and/or decentralized technology) that someone from the outside world should know about, and someone from inside Bitcoin would appreciate?

Dude, just use a generic male human silhouette as a representation of satoshi. Or better yet, use cryptography symbols.

Not really an option with this particular illustration. Needs a human face, even if it's going to be a lame Guy Fawkes mask (which I'm trying to avoid for being over-done and agenda riddled).

For some reason I've always thought of Maki Naro the web-zineist  as an analogue for Satoshi.  You'd probably have to read a few weeks worth of his 'zine to get why (aside from his genetics), but here's some self-portraits:

You'd probably have to ask permission, too...

Dankedan: price seems low, time to sell I think...
