Hello All,
I was wandering if anyone tried to mine with 2 1080/1070 in a tiny case. I'm concerned about heating issues mostly. Any feedback from mining in a closed case welcome

I was inspired by this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Uk45njIUvH0

Thanks in advance for any feedback

this will be hard.

i have 2x GTX 1070 gigabyte ITX OC packed into SilverStone Grandia GD09B and getting almost 80c @mining Zcash (80% TDP) with fan going over 60%..
so beware - summer is coming and it will be damn hot Roll Eyes

you can do it at least for the 1070, i have two in gaming rig and they run at 60° perfectly fine no temp issue, but i use the haf-xb as a case and not a tower, i don't know if this is a factor

I have two AIB 1070s in a Mid-tower before, temps are ~60C and ~70C at 100%TDP, room temp 24C, the upper card is always 10C hotter.

Recently I replace them with two 1080Ti FE, temps are ~55C and 65C at 80% TDP. Blower cards are much better and my only problem is the fan noise. So 80% TDP and 68% Fan works best for me in an office environment.

For ITX, I could not see any problems with two blower cards, especially if you can use case supporting vertical GPU installation.

vertical GPU installation will definitely help, or you always get a hotter card on top.

you mean horizontal? haf-xb have horizontal installation compared to tower which had vertical, and the heat go toward the higher slot, too bad i can't put the third card in my gaming rig, or the temp would go to 80°+
