Hello,

Quick question guys.
I have an unconfirmed BTC transaction which apparently is dependent on some other two unconfirmed ones before it can go through.

One of the two transactions awaiting confirmation is this one:

https://blockchain.info/tx/c6aaf628ad26bc6a56438c5851d7d988968f3d49c2eea41aed86f90277f06bac

But blockhain.info says this: "Transaction rejected by our node. Reason: Transaction was previously accepted but has been pruned from our database."

Is this bad ? Does this mean it will never confirm and thus my transaction which is dependent on it is in trouble ?

Thank you for the info and thank you for all the members who take the time and post a lot of useful information here as I have learned a lot these days when I ran into BTC transaction problems (Which don't seem to stop though Sad )

Kind regards
ranochigo

No. That message simply means Blockchain.info feels that the transaction has spent too much time in their mempool and decided not to include it in anymore. That is not reflective of any other nodes in the network, they most probably still have your transaction.

If you really want that transaction to confirm, you will have to continuously rebroadcast it over the network so nodes and miners will not drop your transaction.

Your raw transaction is here[1], you can go to coinb.in/#broadcast and key in the code periodically.
Don't expect it to be confirmed in a short amount of time. Is the transaction a payment from someone else? It has opt-in RBF flagged and it can be replaced by another transaction.

Thanks for the reply ranochigo.

The actual transaction I am waiting for is this: https://www.blocktrail.com/BTC/tx/8dbbf6087d1b50e6868d82a7617013c68f8a22770688c8a66df5867945257cdf

I've found out that at the moment for it to confirm is dependent on two other unconfirmed:

 c6aaf628ad26bc6a56438c5851d7d988968f3d49c2eea41aed86f90277f06bac
 fd1822a3b3a843af7bad3404b046f48cf3853827fed9d8e9da076ca271a2e1bb

I've manage to submit the transaction I'm waiting for to viabtc and the second one from above in hopes it will clear.
But the one I initially posted is not found on blockchain.info and viabtc also said txn not found.

Many nodes may have forgotten about it by now.
If you want your transaction to confirm, then you should probably rebroadcast that missing transaction regularly (once per day is probably enough) until it confirms.

You can get the raw transaction from the pastebin link that ranochigo provided and can broadcast it from the coinb.in link he provided
