No, just no. Ripple can't even go 2 USD, let alone 2000 USD. This coin is overhyped and overpriced but soon the whales will start cashing out faster. Now they try to hide their profits between big volumes. They have almost free coins, so why not sell it to newbies? Smiley
This is very profitable method for them.

Could Ripple see the same growth as Bitcoins, like going from 0.05$ to almost 2000$ in less than a decade? Could Ripple one day be worth over a 1000$?

No,  because there's too many of them. $1-$2 is possible, $10 maximum and very unlikely.
