Transaction failed but still pending?

I wanted to send my Bitcoins from my Blockchain wallet to my Gatehub wallet. Since I'm pretty new to buying Bitcoin I didn't know it took some time for my Bitcoin transaction to get confirmed and sent the Bitcoins. On my Gatehub wallet it says that the transaction failed, on my Blockchain its still waiting for confirmations. Since it's been nearly 3 days now my question is, how do I get those Bitcoins back into my Blockchain wallet?

All you need to do, is to wait for the whole network to forget the transaction (an estimate is 72 hrs, but can take longer due to few reasons) and eventually it will be returned to your wallet.

It's stated as failed probably because it was unconfirmed for too long . Since it's been 3 days the best you can do is just to wait until your transaction is forgotten by the network of course it will not take effect if the said transaction is being rebroadcasted . After that the bitcoins will go back to its original place (the sending wallet)

Alternatively, You can confirming your transaction using viabtc here: viabtc.com . Many people are already using this service so you might get a submission is full but just try and try until viabtc accepts it .

May not be a good idea to use an accelerator in this case since the other end (gatehub) has already concluded the tx as failed on their end. (Especially since I hear gatehub has been having some bugs?) https://www.reddit.com/r/Ripple/comments/6aaain/gatehub_is_a_joke/

Better to wait for the network to 'forget/drop' the tx and it'll show back up on your wallet. Dunno how long though.

It will get rebroadcasted again with the same old fee and the new transaction would be marked as double spend as blockchain keeps doing this till the transaction is not out of the network. Try to spend these coins asap or possibly create a new address for future transactions to avoid the coins from getting stuck.
