I was just now reading
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=203977.0 which refers to a Ripple portal for DeVCoin, which turned out to be dead host under the
d.evco.in subdomain, which itself claims to be a DeVCoin portal copyright by the devcoin developers.
The portal presents some dead links but also some live ones, including
a block explorer.
Surprisingly though, another of its live links is to
a faucet, which is showing the same block number for current block as a quick check of a devcoind running on one of my own servers shows to be as up to date as my own devcoind, which of course I hope is itself up to date.
Both showed block number 626783, does that match anyone/everyone else's current block for DeVCoin?
It is updating too, now on block 626785 as is also my devcoind daemon on LFM.Knotwork.com
So it looks like the explorer is up to date, which makes it seem as if maybe the faucet might also work.
The faucet wants 30 bitcointalk users to request free DeVCoins before it sends them though, to save on transaction costs, so all by myself I am presumably not going to be able to test whether it works.
Can we find enough bitcointalk forum users to give the faucet 30 to send free DeVCoins to?
It claims it will send 8 DeVCoins...
