Poloniex alerts?

What is the bell icon in top right corner in Poloniex?

It says "There are no new alerts.".

I can't find any way to create any alerts.

I asked them and I have been told that these alerts basically comes from the system, say while doing Margin trading/lending for example: https://poloniex.com/support/aboutMarginTrading/
