After 8 years of clear dominance, easily having between 50% and 99% volume of the total cryptocurrency market, today bitcoin's volume is perhaps 30%  ( haven't calculated ) of total volume, on par with eth's volume.

CMC forgot in the BTC volume maths that any exchange on a ETH/BTC pair is also volume for BTC.
It's the same for all the other pairs that include BTC.

We are far away from parity atm

It actually is taken into consideration, otherwise btc's volume would be much lower. Top btc trading volume is against ETH, top eth volume is against fiat money/krw.

not something  that special, i remember doge doing the same in the early day when everyone was buying doge, check the parity in 2013 for doge litcoin and bitcoin, doge was very high at that time, no surprise now that ETH have this volume the value is 1/10 of bitcoin now and the supply is huge, which mena more coins are traded

Not really. Dogecoin never had >10mil volume before 2 months ago. But any other token to surpass bitcoin in volume was unconceivable. On the same unconceivable level as btc-eth market cap #parity.
