Dao Casino are waiting for Raiden Network to operate off chain transactions necessary to function on blockchain decentralised and at speed. The first version of Raiden is unlikely to be able to do this as it is designed to support token transfers.
Funfair use their state/fate channels for much more than just token transfers. They use it for random number generation and player interaction as well. Something Raiden probably won’t support this year. And who knows when. Heiko, the boss of Brainbot, at a recent Ethereum conference said he wasn't sure when they will get around to implementing generic state transfers in Raiden. Its not their priority right now, which means Dao's games won't function for decentralised casinos for some time.
