I want to mine litecoins.

I open my personal wallet and see a mining button. It should be as simple as clicking it, but it is not!

I want someone to give me solid, simple steps, not binary codes and 100 steps to make my head spin.

If you cannot explain simply, or want to throw 10,000 steps my way... DO NOT respond to this thread!

I want a pro to tell me what to do, not some guy who thinks he is a guru, just because he has a  high post count.

Are there any real people that mine out there?

Definitely not a guru. But I can help. What card do you have first off? Look up cgminer and reaper. Also google search ltc mining hardware comparison, which will give you hash rates and settings to use with the above programs. Once you get your settings, and over locks set find a pool to connect to, google search ltc mining pools, and pick the one right for you.

I want to mine litecoins.

Then you shouldn't be posting in the Bitcoin section.

The litecoin section is under alternate currencies.

A: Because it messes up the order in which people normally read text.
Q: Why is top-posting such a bad thing?
A: Top-posting.
Q: What is the most annoying thing on usenet and in e-mail?
