So i just found some old pc i had around



Specs pc 1.
Mainboard:Asus P7P55D Sockel 1156
cpu:Intel Core i5-760 CPU 4x 2,80GHz
ram:2x 4GB DDR3 Ram
hdd:1 just a random one
psu 650 watts gold +
Gpu 2x hd7970 ghz editions


on spec one would here they cpu might bottleneck something "does that even exsit in terms of mining"


specs pc 2.
Mainboard:Intel Desktop Board DH55TC
cpu:Intel i3- 530 2x 2.93GHz
ram:1 4gb ddr3 ram
hdd:1 again a radonm one
psu:650 watts gold+
gpus:2x hd 7970

i think on this one i need 1 Riser Card Adapter


would i have anyproblems with this specs? its going to be used only for ETH/ZEC mining

Looks good but won't work for ETH mining.

Why could i not mine eth ? i was about to mine eth as long as possible then switch to zec

The DAG has grown to a size where you need at least a 4GB card to mine.

Also, the 7970 does very low hashes for the wattage consumed. ZEC should be your target coin right now.

Okey. i mean that wouldnt be a problem since im thinking to build an 6x 1070 rig and would mine with that eth meanwhile.

but i found something like this here https://i.imgur.com/ozcCncy.png would that mean this results are incorrect ?


also what cards can you recommend for low budeget

This is incorrect. Plenty of people are mining with 3gb cards. 2gb doesn't work.

 ETH is still mineable on 3GB cards - but the 7970 is a lot better off mining ZEC at this time.

 1070 is also not a good choice for ETH mining, does better on ZEC - but it's been very close at times the last couple weeks.
 There are other altcoins that the 1070 does better at, look into the skein and groetsl coins, or try Nicehash to see other options.
