I don't see a normal .dat file, is there another file I need to access my coins?

Wallet.dat file is usually in the roaming folder in Windows, is that what you are using?

Thanks for the fast reply, black halo uses the contracts file instead according to the documentation. I think I found it, crossing my fingers and hoping I can recover my coins.
