Nasa has a load of little thought puzzles, experiements and scenarios to inspire thaought. They send the best along to the CIA for more circulation. Years back the "ball and the wall" emerged. A simple scene is set, frozen in time, a ball is just over the crest of a hill and at the bottom of the hill is a wall. The question is how different people, groups and mindsets predict the outcome. It really got nowhere as an thought puzzle, but became running email joke, adding more groups and people.
I recently got a forwarder copy with Bitcoin added...here it is
The realist predicts the ball will roll down and hit the wall.
The pessimist predicts the same result, but knows that somewhere a little child is near suicide over the lost ball.
The optimist agrees with the realist, but thinks that the result will be AWESOME.
The conspiracy theorist is convinced that while he is watching the ball and the wall, the government is accessing his bank account and profiling his internet purchaes.
The government waits at the ball for someone to come along and watch it, then accesses there bank account and profiles the internet purchases.
....now, added by some anonymous Bitcoiner
The Bitcoin forum member sees a ball and a wall but it not really sure about anything until asking the forum and getting an answer there.
The Bitcoin exchange trader grabs the ball and introduces anew ICO where the ball can be returned if the ICO buy wall is hit.
Satoshi is not positive until six anonymous other ball watchers confirm his predictions...
