The main event needs more love imo.  In Jacare you have a veteran grappler who has been in the top 5 at MW for who knows how long, while Brunson is a young journey man still looking to make his mark in MMA.

This match up is more intruiging than it looks.  My gut says to bet on Brunson.

Notes.

-Jacare is 38. That could come with a serious decline over where he was only 1-2 years ago. Not certain if Jacare's kickboxing declined after he began training with Anderson Silva. But it might have.

-Dennis Bermudez is credited with being 5'6. He's about the same height as Chad Mendes. That height used to work in the 145 lb weight class. But it is possible that its not enough height to take on todays 145 lb fighters who are as tall as 5'11.

-Justine Kish is the girl who pooped herself in the cage fighting off Felice Herrig's choke attempt. Then she tweeted: "SHIT HAPPENS" on social media. She showed an impressive amount of heart and a sense of humor. Needs to work on her technique to compliment her natural gifts. She's one of the fighters I want to see fight the most @ this event, if only because of how much heart she showed & she looked like she could have a future in the sport with her athleticism, of course disappointment is always an option too.

-Frank Camacho had serious cardio issues last time out. He dominated his opponent in round 1 then had nothing in rounds 2 and 3, if I'm remembering right. We can see if history repeats itself.

-George Sullivan hasn't fought in about 2 years. Not certain what happened to him but he could have ring rust, etc.

i dont really like anything on this card but will put small bets on Derek Brunson and Andre Fili

^ I actually like Brunson here.  He's on the way up and wants to be a champ.  Jacare on the other hand is on the way out.  And I don't think he's as motivated to win as Brunson is.

Like everyone here i am going with Derek Brunson,the problem with Souza is that he is old and his last performance was not that impressive ,Gregor Gillespie is undefeated and i am wagging some small bets on Katlyn and Bektic ,i really did not like this fight card and they are filling fox card with mostly unknown fighters,which is not what the UFC said when they started the fox broadcast.

Well...  Somebody got KO'd alright and it wasn't Jacare.  LOL.  I can't believe how Brunson made it so easy for Jacare.  I mean isn't he faster and supposed to be more agile?

I guess that's what you get for being a fighter with low fight IQ.  Lmao.  Yup, I'm mad.  Lost another bet.

That was some insane performance from Jacare ,it was the exact same result from their last encounter,after watching Jacare performing against Robert Whittaker i thought age is catching up with him,but he just replicated his last fight with Brunson as he stopped him in the first round and that too with strikes.Really disappointed with Brunson as he is not fit for the main events.
