Mining ZEC and ETH on the same rig

Guys, is it possible to mine ZEC and ETH on the same rig, but different GPUs?

I have a rx 480 and a gtx 1060 6gb, I would like to mine eth on the rx480 and zec on 1060

Yes. I'm doing the same thing. I have the AMD dual mining ETH and the GTX 1080 mining ZEC.

You have to set the cards to use in the Claymore dual miner with the -di parameter and I use EWBF for the Nvidia card.

Hi,

As the poster above said, use -di to disable the card you don't want to mine with the specific software.

-di    GPU indexes, default is all available GPUs. For example, if you have four GPUs "-di 02" will enable only first and third GPUs (#0 and #2).
   Use "-di detect" value to detect correct GPU order for temperatures management (requires non-zero "-tt" option); note that it will not work properly if you do not want to assign all GPUs to miner (add "-gmap" option to fix it).
   You can also turn on/off cards in runtime with "0"..."9" keys and check current statistics with "s" key.

In dual miner, disable the 1060, and in zec miner disable the 480

Mixed rigs are so complicated with drivers issues.

Mining can be complicated all by itself.
Personally I prefer not to mix cards.
And keep each rig with the same gpu
That's for simplicity!
It cuts my trouble shooting down to almost  "0".

Zero issues on Windows 7 and running stable for days at a time. I just installed the latest Nvidia drivers and the 1080 worked out of the box. Having mixed drivers on Linux is definitely an issue to get working though.

I'm using Windows 7
I have a primary rig that drove me crazy, so I think I'm able to to that, I spent 3 entire days working on this rig to run 100% (2 rx 580 + 2rx 570), and I will instal the 1060 with my second rig (rx 480 only)
