I will say right up front that this was a totally insignificant amount of coins.  My problem is that if a transaction for .001 coin can disappear into thin air could one for 1, 100 or 1000 just as easily?

Anyway Last week I transferred a small amount of name coin from btc-e.com to cryptsy.  I didn't know who was responsible so I contacted both and said "Hey where is this transaction".  After a day or two cryptsy responded and then after some further back and forth they said they cannot find this transaction in the blockchain at all.   Btc-e is has ignored all inquiries.

In terms of dollar value or BTC value or whatever it's nothing to get bent out of shape over - my question is how can they be trusted with real money now?

same here bro Sad Cept it was roughly BTC1 transferred from BTC-E to Cryptsy. This was almost 5 hours ago, so far no record of transaction completed or pending Sad

Cryptsy did mention they are having major back orders on deposits so we should expect delays. I wouldn't mind that so much if I could at least find a record of the transaction pending .. ahh well
