I find the fact this is your first post much more interesting...  Tongue

As for the trend... There's really nothing to it. University of Ljubljana is the largest university in Slovenia. And since it's a small country, the large majority of developers attended that school at some point.

I found the same thing with Rialto and I think as well with Notary.

Just maybe coincidence/chance but from the ones ive been researched on recently, ICN, CFI, RIALTO ico, HIVES ico. Small sample size forsure just really odd seeing teams with a heavy base all from that school. Havent noticed a 'school' trend with other coins ive looked at.

ah sorry, im mainly a lurker i will admit. but I couldnt find any info pertaining to this from this forum or reddit so I guess I had to make my first post :p.

Not trying to imply anything negative or anything like that, just found it striking to me. A fellow researcher made a joke that maybe the school has a 'blockchain' program lol.

Do you have links to this ICOs. I know ICONOMI and there was one for crowdfunding platform. cofound or something, but i dont know other 3.

In general in Slovenia, crypto was quite popular. At early start  yes because of education and in general digitalization and latter when in other countries was no progress here in media was positive opinion because BITSTAMP. Media linked Bitcoins with chance to get rich and not chances to get in jail as did in other countries. I am positive that 3 years ago we had most ATMs/population. Most likely we are still high.
Slo government also had not try to regulate Bitcoin much. And that is only good. to let it grow freely. This will change sooner or latter. But because of small size ad flexibility have more chances to do it right way.

Ah thank you for the explanation, definitely clears it up a bit. Good to know as well Smiley.

And sure, 2 other icos I was researching
Hive(4 affliates) ico-https://hive-project.net/#section4
Rialto (4 affliates) ico-https://www.rialto.ai/#team

and apparently from other posters above, suncontract and notary.

Again, not implying any negative of the sort, just noticed the trend and got curious. Cheers.

Oh and today I read in newspaper, this UNI is ranked as 2nd out of 2 in Slovenia Tongue  LOL. Maribor is among TOP600, Ljubljana is among TOP800 on world. Well when they will put the crypto research factor in this ranking, then it might change.

And sure, 2 other icos I was researching
Hive(4 affliates) ico-https://hive-project.net/#section4
Rialto (4 affliates) ico-https://www.rialto.ai/#team

https://www.rialto.ai/ is not from Slovenia   Hive it seems it is. As I heard on one block chain conference that Slovenian Government organized last week there will be another ICO soon. Something about wood industry. There is lots of forest in Slovenia one of TOP forest countries in world.
