Hey everyone,

I'm a newbie to mining and I'm curious to learn more about altcoins. I came across Moneta Verde and was interested in getting into it for fun. I seem to be having trouble setting up the wallet. This is where I got the wallet from:

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=653141.0

When I start the Moneta Verde Daemon, I get the following error: Failed to connect to any of seed peers

I tried to find an example of what a config file should look like and add some peers, but I couldn't find anything online.

The last post on the link above was from quite some time ago, which makes me think that this coin is dead, but I saw that there is a mining pool still available for this coin...so maybe not?

Could someone please help me get this set up?

Thanks!

from what i have seen too is that this coin is dead or the wallet is beyond me from getting setup
https://minergate.com/faq/how-to-create-monetaverde-wallet

go to http://monetaverde.org/ and this is the error message
Google Chrome's connection attempt to monetaverde.org was rejected. The website may be down, or your network may not be properly configured.

sadly, it looks like its dead, too bad though.I've mined about 300 coins while waiting for wallet to sync, which it never did.

Any news about this coin. Seemed rather promising. I see that Poloniex FROZE it within the last 24 hours. Sad

It was dead. I'm not a cryptocurrency engineer (in fact, I'm rather a noob) but I am a software engineer and marketing IT specialist.

I am taking the project over to GitLab: https://gitlab.com/erpgriffin/monetaverde

Anyone is welcome to join and help out.

I will be focusing primarily on building up the documentation, getting things working smoothly, and helping people build plugins to integrate payments into eCommerce platforms freely.

Best regards,

I too am quite new to this but interested in learning using MonetaVerde. Not sure how/if I can help but if anyone here has ideas I am up for putting some effort in. Could be nice to jump start the coin for financial gain but also just to see behind the curtain etc into the cryptocurrency world.

I am an engineer by trade but have a lot of experience with computing, used to build them when it was profitable and am currently looking into crypto from the view of an investor, cloud miner, maybe even building a small rig.

Say what you need, I have friends who have way more knowledge than myself on this so maybe can get them on board too.

Kudos, hopes and dreams are with you. I am no developer but I surely can be a beta tester and give constructive feedback.
