Hi mates, I'm compiling an altcoin of mine for fun purposes. Everything going smooth even got a seed up and running on my vps.

At first everything is good! I send it to my friends and test it on my 2 pc's,I can mine, send and receive currency.

Then I shut down all except vps node.

After an hour or so, I run my wallet and it is stuck forever catching up.

No new blocks generated, no other person connected to network but yet this happens every time with multiple source codes.

I'm using UPNP, SSL, QR CODE.

Compiling with Qt, Mingw32 all usual stuff.

What might I be doing wrong?

And sorry if this is the wrong forum, mods can move it to suitable place.

Thanks in advance

EDIT: Okay checking some logs and googling more, I've found that error occurs because coinbase timestamp is too early. I've altered Future and past drift to 20 mins. Checking now!

I would check HDD and RAM for errors. This can cause freezes/need of resync/corruptions etc.
Hope this will solve ur problems.

Thanks for the reply mate.
I've found out that if I start mining while all the connected wallets having sync issues, as soon as I found a block, sync issue is gone!
