Hi,
more than one year ago i mined for some month in Bitcoin. As my rig crashed i stoped. Now i want to use my wallet. The problem is i forgot the key. I have my old (crypted) wallet.dat (created by bitcoin-client 0.6.0) and i have a once exported CVS-file which contains following data (titles manually translated from german):
"Date","Type","Description","Adress","value","ID"
05-01T09:05:45","received","BTCrec1","1PA..Bitcoin-Adress..8dQ","0.3438","bd37ec..32-lowercase-signs..b71-000"

As i understand the biocoin-system it should be possible to transfer the amount from one wallet to other with importing private keys. So i enter "bd37ec..32-lowercase-signs..b71-000" (without -000) at TP's Go Bitcoin Tests (section 'Private key to Wallet Import Format') and it convers and looks good (WIF checksum checking: 2 starts with "80BD..." and 6 & 7 are identical). But if i try to import this generated Private Key in the current bitcoin-client i got (after a very long time to wait - 30min) 'nothing/=>' as answer (which should mean it is okay, i got no error message). But i cant find a value in my wallet. I found this imported dataset - but just with a value "0.00".

Whats wrong? What need i to do to get this imported?

Please correct me if im wrong at some parts and/or give me some links to additional information. At the moment i think i've readed all nessecary docs but i cant help myself. Hope you have some more ideas.

Bye

Mel

Perhaps the bitcoins were sent from the address to a different address sometime after the CSV was generated?  Did you take a look at https://blockchain.info/ and see if there are still bitcoins associated with the address in the blockchain?
