So I manage to grab 3 cards locally, from a supplier that has sole distro rights to powercolour stock.

So the gpu's they run fine, but no matter that you set min fan speed in wattman or overdriverN the fan speed still switches off if the core is below 60c!

The core stays below 60c easily with this massive cooler and I am mining cryptoknight so HBM temps are high and the card switches off after a while.

I did manage change target temp which keeps the fans going but also throttle the card a bit, playing around now to see what target temp will work best for me.

Anybody have a solution to keep fans going without the target temp lowering?

I have 3 vega 56 as well.

2 of them run 50-60 degrees, but third under same config heats to 70-75 and crashes whole rig.

Still trying to figure out whats wrong with it.
