APX and GAM, what's the story?

I was searching for info about APX and GAM (Gambit) coins, but there seems to not be a lot of info, what and how are they doing stuff... Bitcointalk threads are of low volume, there isn't a reddit sub, telegram and slack also not so active. However i found whitepaper (?) from APX with 2 pages. Not a lot to rely to.
So I was wondering if anybody have more infos about those two, before I put some BTC's in?

I'm buying as much apx as I can. As I understand they have a mining farm, you share in the profits.  If I'm wrong please correct me.
