Apparently, the GDAX Ethereum megaflashcrash was due some huge amount that came from the genesis block dumping all at once into the market and triggering this shitshow.

Apparently, the genesis block had 72 million premined coins that was kept between the developers (wtf)

Honestly, how isn't ETH anything but a mess?

I'm going to laugh so hard when Ethereum drops back down to $20. Don't say it can't happen, Bitcoin had a much worse drop at one point.

Selfish how? Im just pointing at an obvious problem: There's too much ETH in control of the original devs and we have seen what potentially is a massive dump by one of them or several of them.

Im not worried because im not holding any ETH, but if I was holding ETH, then i would be pretty worried.

If I understood correctly, 72 million out of 100 million is in the hands of very few. That's pretty retarded in my book.

I did not know about this development, this is insane if the pre mined coins are dumped in the market,it shows that they do not have any responsibility for the investors which is really a bad thing and which could end the reign of ETH.

Obvious problem here, is your greed (partially), second problem is delusional decentralization (who has buy power, was first, that owns the market/price), third, you really seems do not care about tech and problem it solves and what future it can bring. So, sumup, you just envy and furstrated that pie is not yours, but someones.

Remember money is a reward (it means you have to work hard), otherwise you guppy in the ocean that tries to bite.

i can't believe an insider would be stupid enough to wipe an entire order book. if he'd sold 25% every hour across exchanges he would've ended up with a ton more money.

Does anyone have a link to the article that says this? I'm sure it will be an interesting read. Someone a few posts up posted a link, but it has been removed and says "Suspcicious link removed". Can't access it.

If this is true then it can only one thing. They are just simply pump and dump coin. I pitied who may have been trap already and can't get out. I'm not worried at all because I was able to get out of it weeks before the actual crash and I'd say I made a profit. But for those who are not lucky, and still holding I think they will be in a rude awaking once the price drop more in the coming weeks.
