Which crypto currency is best during segwit2x ?

why Ethereum is dropping ? it should be more high now because of bitcoin situation

anyway , I dont want to sell my bitcoins to local currency, which other crypto is best during this time

Almost all alts are still low right now compared to their previous value, though they are already recovering or green. In my case I put some of my BTC on altcoins, especially on the top coins in coinmarketcap. There is full of uncertainty this August 1 event, ut still I am very optimistic. Hold if plan for long term gains.

I think you need to see it also altcoin other than ETHEREUM maybe it is a fair decision and pretty cool for you to do

I think it's a lot more dangerous to hold an altcoin short term on August first and the week prior and after. Things can get ugly for some altcoins so I'd just hold in bitcoin. Ethereum however went way too high way too quickly and is still pretty overpriced in my opinion.

You should read this, I think this is very reliable if you don't have any idea what will happen to bitcoin in August 1 then I think your the one to decide in what will you do to your bitcoin, and if you don't want to put your bitcoin on other Altcoins, or exchange it with Fiat money and really want to hold your bitcoin, prepare a secure wallet for you cold storage or a secure mobile wallet, I think keeping your bitcoins on a storage such as these can really secure and let your bitcoin safe from the impending split.

No one knows what crypto is best to invest in during segwit2x. You're probably just better off holding fiat for now, or maybe hold Litecoin like some people are doing.

Not only ethereum is dropping, but almost all (95%?) cryptocurrencies are dropping because of bitcoins price drop, since bitcoin is the main trading currency for most altcoins.

my advise for you not to sell your bitcoin an other crypto currency  because the crypto currency can be die but bitcoin cannot be die it will be go upward soon because bitcoin is not like other crypto currencies bitcoin is most popular currency and dont be afraid from fluctuation of bitcoin. increase and decrease in price is abonded with bitcoin.

Bitcoin? I don't think so even with this hard fork. Ether? Not at all. Maybe waves? Neah. My opinion is that till this moment we still don't have the best coin. Using crypto doesn't mean to trade or hold or whatever, it simple means to use daily. Go to a shop and buy a coffee with bitcoins. Can you do it now with any coin?

The point that at the moment crypto's are not in people's life is easy. No one wants that. We are all saying that the governments are not involved in bitcoin. We all say that bitcoin is free of any control. If is this so why we still can't see it on street more often? Mostly everyone heard about bitcoin, so why no one is using it with the real point?

In any cases, as a conclusion I want to say that at the moment, all the crypto's are having a lame value. This is nothing, this is like nothing. I am using crypto from 2012 as alternative to paypal and nowadays I do use it daily. But no as keeping or investment, or even trading. Just for alternative to fiat.

if SegWit2x goes through it will be a soft fork with the majority of hashrate behind it (>90%) and that means only bitcoin is the best for that time because price will go up fast.

there are many reasons for it, mostly because it is a crappy altcoin with nothing to offer. a bad and bloated blockchain and expensive everything and it is full of bugs and has a worse scaling issue than bitcoin or any other altcoins.

but also it is because it was in a huge bubble and all the ICO scams it was involved with are slowly showing their effects.

on top of all that altcoins drop whenever bitcoin drops.

if you are afraid of losing money then sell for local currency. any altcoin you invest in will probably fall very hard.

if you insist i can only think of one altcoin: Litecoin which has been performing very well so far.

Well ethereum usually rises when bitcoin drops but what is different this time is that segwit is happening which means everyone is panicing and having second thoughts about bitcoin, which is making them sell. This is called pre segwit anticipation and is to be expected. After August the first, I am expecting the price of bitcoin to go back up and maybe even hit 3000 USD.

Earlier the situation was different. Users sold bitcoin and Ethereum bought because but grew up in price faster and it was cheaper. Now we are talking about the credibility of all crypto currencies. If the bitcoin will fall due to the fact that someone simply could not agree among themselves it would undermine the credibility of all coins, and people do not want to depend on the decision of others. They can just stop buying crypto currency.
