There's something very wrong at the moment. I appreciate their support is busy, but there's a difference between responses being delayed by a day or two and people not getting any response after a week or more. I've been waiting since Saturday for a reply to a ticket that should take one minute to resolve, and I'm not holding out hope of it happening any time soon.
You only have to search for "@Bitstamp" on Twitter to see how many people are in a similar situation:
https://twitter.com/search?f=tweets&q=%40bitstampNeedless to say, I'd strongly suggest that people avoid trusting Bitstamp with any of their funds until they get this situation sorted out. My experience up to this week had been positive so this is pretty disappointing.
Most worrying is that they seem to be planning to add support for LTC and ETH in the near future, when they're not anywhere near able to cope with the volume of support requests they're already getting.
