Amd overdrive not reading fan speed - 6950

Hey guys, I just got a new Visiontek 6950 in the mail. (actually I have like 3 more that are a little different).  This one has dual fans instead of 1 which is nice and it has a bios switch. 

But problem is, when I run AmdOverdrive control it gives me a warning saying that it cant detect fan speed and then disables the fan profile thing. 

anyone else have this problem? The other cards seem to work fine.

I'm using linux and I'm kinda new to it.
