How is he scamming you?  What should we look out for.  Is he asking you to send your account before you receive payment?

Someone wrote me to sell them my account..could be the same person.  But he said he would send the money up front, so by definition, it's not a scam if someone is giving you the money before you get the goods.   I assume he was trying something different with you though.

Thanks for this reply, I though about it, where would you post this article in then to get attention and have it in the right collumn?

The other thing is propably this:
This guy is looking for old bitcointalk accounts to score some Ripples (XRP).
Well thanks to him I need to go trough my old (10-14) different bitcointalk accounts and claim the cash.

SCAMMER

He could be running a scam but more likely he does just want the account to get some discounted ripples.   But if you present a trade to someone and send them the money first and they agree to it and they receive the money and you deliver the goods, then no one was "scammed".  That is a called a business transaction between consenting adults.

It would only be a scam if he bought an older account to do something scammy with on the site.  The ripples thing is the most likely answer so not a scam.

The same person has offered to pay me to make a post including his receiving address. It does really seem he is only after the Ripples.

Still around.
