Hi

If i want to deploy a contract on ethereum to make a new coin, how do i do it? i know it can be done on ethereum wallet and mist but its taking weeks to download the blockchain with those!

is there any light wallet i can use for this?

You are doing everything right.
Sync your wallet.
Code and upload solidity contract.
Also, it won't be free, you should pay some ETH to deploy the contract.

it is sad but the only way, soon you would need a year to download eth blockchain.

it is sad but the only way, soon you would need a year to download eth blockchain.
I am sure this is a pretty easy task to fix for Eth devs.
Also, try to google it, may be, there are some tricks to do sync faster, like connecting to more nodes and using fatter ones...
As my local chain is fixed I don't see it as a big problem anyway.
