GPU will mine for maybe 5 minutes then just quits - temperature does not seem to be too high in fact I added a flag of -s 0.01 and it still happened
Does the card have some kind of a timeout that I need to disable?

Thanks

Try running a command line miner, it might actually give you some decent feedback if/when it dies. On nvidia you probably want to use cudaminer anyway. Oh wait that is for litecoin only, but yeah you probably want to mine ltc with cudaminer and buy btc with ltc... or just buy btc directly and forget mining on nvidia.

Thanks, I am not looking to make any profit on Nvidia, I just have a bunch of Nvidia cards already, I know I will ultimately have to change that but I just want to test the waters and see how this thing works.

When my card is mining it is going at about 86 Mhash/s I know that doesn't compare to ATI but it should be enough to see how this works.

My question is why does it mine fine for about 5 minutes and then just stop? I haven't lost connection because it still continues mining at about 1.7 Mhash/s on the one processor I have selected.

My graphic card is still working on my monitor so what is going on, it's not crazy hot - it's about 75

Thanks for any replies
