yes gatehub.net is the preferred Ripple wallet I think???
you can trade to and from Bitcoin, Ethereum, Dollar and Euro.

you could also try poloniex.com for trading.

Shapeshift.io has a lot of different currencies to trade in and out of without registration. The volume is a bit low, so if you need to convert a lot, you may want to skip it.

What trading site you recommend for newbie who wants to trade Ripple and other coins? It would be nice if Ripple have wallet in same site.
I think that Yobit and bittrex are the best. They have the small volume which is suitable for newbie and various kinds of coin for newbies to choose. In addition, Bittrex is one of the most reliable cryptocurrency trading platform

I think poloniex and bittrex is best trading sites for all but great information for me about
Shapeshift.io
Gatehub.com

shapeshift can't handle huge transactions/exchanges.
Gatehub.com is quite new to scene but most of ripple holders are using them.
Poloniex is having lots of issues lately specially with their withdrawals so better to avoid them to store ripple right now.

The only option left right now is bittrex and I am trusting them with all my ripples and other alts.
