There are indeed many ways to use Bitcoin. I simply wanted to open a poll to get a snapshot of how people tend to be involved with this revolutionary currency.

My apologies if a similar poll has been done in the past.

Thanks for participating.

I have mined a few, bought a few, I hold most, but I have a few sell and buy orders in place for dips and peaks, but I also want to buy a Subaru WRX with my BTC. So quite a few.

I run a paintball business that accepts Bitcoin. I also do a little day trading and am working on getting some Bitcoins at a good price to hold long term. I also do small ($10 or so) loans on BTCJam just for fun.

ACCOUNT RECOVERED 4/27/2020. Account was previously hacked sometime in 2017. Posts between 12/31/2016 and 4/27/2020 are NOT LEGITIMATE.

I am completely open to spending BTC but until it becomes easier to do so, I will have to stick with just buying and hoarding.  Hopefully the day will come where we can easily spend. Smiley

There are way too many options that apply to just choose one.

I know most of you long timers here will hate how I use bitcoins. I mine to fund all of my random online purchases (steam, ebay, humble bundle sales, etc) I just look at it like its free money, power is dirt cheap in BC, Canada so my power bill only went up a few dollars a month

I use Bitmit, to trade the BTC's for cash into my paypal account.

Gambling, mostly playing poker, and selling when I need some money.  I don't buy, although I probably will buy some on Coinbase at some point just to up my sell limits.  I'm in no real hurry, though, because I have yet to exceed or even get near exceeding them.

Personally, I mine my bitcoins and then I go buy items online as the price of Bitcoin goes higher; When the price is low I hoard them until they are worth something, for me this is like getting things for free, like those reward points at stores.

Everything I buy is in BTC, I never exchange it to fiat.

If you think my efforts are worth something; I'll keep on keeping on.

I'd say I hoard, but having less than 0.01BTC to my name isn't quite hoarding. I'm attemptimg to collect enough little by little to be able to use them.

Wit all my solidarities,

I convert about 80% of my paycheck into BTC. I leave enough in my bank account to pay bills (though will soon be testing the bitcoinbillpay system).

I have about $100 in cash left from about $400 I had back in February that I use for little things like getting my hair cut or needing to pay for something.

I only spend bitcoins for everything else.

First seastead company actually selling sea homes: Ocean Builders https://ocean.builders  Of course we accept bitcoin.
