Atheism made me an Extremist

Back then as an atheist I was a cold-blooded extremist.
Though I never killed nor tried evil scientific experiments, all that I thought of when I saw people misbehaving or being lawless was to SLAUGHTER them. I was so obsessed with orderliness unfortunately extremism was my only way of achieving orderliness. I hated Abusive parents, I hated rapists, I hated people littering the roads with dirts, I hated jungle justice, I wanted poverty to end by all means. I wanted quick solutions to this problems. I used to be very angry and depressed person because of all these  things I hated. I just wanted to SLAUGHTER people who do things I hated. I swore I would never regret it.


I went back to being Religious (Jesus loving person) . Still do not like those things or people I hated as an atheist but instead of hating, I became too compassionate and empathic. Whatever they did wrong I just think it wasn't their fault or see reasons why they are what they are. I began to think of solutions to thier problems or make them better people instead of slaughtering them. I now believe every problem has a solution plus having strong desire to solve them. I prefer due process, effective Laws and Justice

I think the devil made me such a hateful person.. I thank Jesus for coming into my life and showing me the way.

One can make a model of an expanding globe and break the original surface into whatever shape or design one wishes filling the expanding surface area with water. Where would the extra mass come from. Why we wouldn't see expansion today has no clear answer. But consider. We don't know that much about the distant past.

For example, the Bible at least suggests that the earth was created with a canopy of water around it. If there was a form of water canopy around the earth before the Great Flood times as the Bible suggests, C-14 may not have been formed in the atmosphere until after the canopy was removed in the Flood, and all carbon dating might be useless beyond a few hundred years back.

One thought is that the Greenland shark longevity exists because of their deep-sea habitat that doesn't let harmful radiation penetrate to where they live. This potentially backs up the ages of pre-flood people that lived under the biblical canopy.

The point is, we don't know very much about the past of the earth beyond what was reported as recorded history by those who observed and recorded it. Most of the scientific observations that are based on backward extrapolation are only guesswork, because we don't know what things might have happened in the distant past, that are not visible today.

Certainly Neal Adams' pangea video is something that shows the earth fitting together with a much smaller amount of water... somewhat like a puzzle. And, the puzzle pieces fit together on any world map, although it might take a little time to do the condensing one's self.

The only thing is the big "how and why" thing. There is simply a lot we don't know, and a lot that is suggested to be truth when it is not known to be even near truth.

I have noticed that people who dont have Jesus really in their lives become very bitter, they are upset on every single issue and as you said become extremists, No wonder Muslims are an hating spree, they want the entire world to be as miserable as they are in life. But unlike you, they act on their thoughts and kill lots of people.

I always get a good chuckle out of these comparisons how an extremist atheist is just angry at all the injustice in the world, whereas an extremist religious person goes around killing because someone hurt the fee-fee's of their almighty creator of everything.
