1000 coins but 18 decimals?  Huh
Nice catch, a coin that can subdivide as much is just hiding its true nature, if there was not way to subdivide the coin then we will talk about only being 1000 units of this coin but at the same time having coins that are extremely valuable will be a problem since it will be impossible to give change.

I agree with the preposteen. The amount of coins hardly says anything about a possible success. Other components that are already mentioned are important for a possible success. There is for example a quite successful coin (twentyfor), which is only available in a number of 24 and which is worth a few bitcoins per piece.
