Antminer D3 on the bitmain website. What's up with the numbers?

Am I missing something, what is this?

Not Bitcoin mining, belongs in Altcoin mining. Second, it is an X11 miner hashing at 15Ghs designed to compete with the ridiculously overpriced DM11G, an 11GHS X11 miner. Great deal for both resale and mining, but difficulty rising on X11 will make profits waaaay lower than the estimated $100K/miner you would be making per year if you had your hands on one right now.

Yeah wish we could get access to these before september after theyve mined everything and the difficulty has tripled

I have read that Bitmain has a bad record of mining customers equipment until the difficulty spikes and then ships them out when they are no longer profitable. Has anyone had this problem with them in the past?

I wouldn't be surprised at all if they did.

I was looking to buy some myself, but the waiting period seems unreasonable.

Yea, that is what I am afraid of. If they have them they should ship them. If we see difficulty spike then we know what is up with them!

Probably Innosilicon will do the same if they have their stuff ready. They could just call it "load testing"
If i were the vendor i would be tempted to run it for a few days to make sure the product i ship is reliable hrhr

I understand the needs for burn-in testing. A few days or even a week is ok, but longer than that I don't think is acceptable.
