Alternative to btc-e

Is there any alternative like btc-e with code and perfectmoney & okpay for exchanges, easy for registration, no limits for deposit or withdrawals without veryfing and so on?

Theres still some options and knowing its not only btc-e is the platform here on the market. You can always see on the top ranking like polo and bittrex but i woud suggest to skip poloniex they do have lots of issues as of now. If you are really concern on different payment processors then i think bittrex would be enough. I didnt know the other payment options yet since my eye is only on bitcoin deposits or address,

Agreed, I've lost any optimism for the situation. The feds are clear in their intents to pursue the owners and pillage from their customers, if they are able to. Doesn't make sense for the owners to attempt returning.

I'm not aware of any exchanges like BTC-E regarding verification and withdrawal limits. Polo and Bittrex have low withdrawal limits if you don't want to provide documents.

I really wonder if we are going to see action against Mayzus Financial, who I believe recently purchased OKpay. They have been backing BTC-E and moving their money for years.

Yes, it has been seized. It has not fully propagated, but by tomorrow or so, everyone should see the same thing. From the whois, the name server is now pointing at Shadowserver, which is a proxy for law enforcement.

Did you personally have missing deposits or just what you've heard from others? What would you say is the most reliable of them? Also,  I think I'd prefer it if it was fully regulated as well and European based to avoid issues.

Dang. My friend actually has about $30k in various coins and cash on there. I was gonna deposit a bitcoin or two as well to give trading a go but I'm glad I didn't now. Don't want this to happen on any other exchange though.

I lost around $2000 on BTC-e. Now I'm using Bittrex. But I wanted to ask. Is there a list somewhere of the exchanges that are legal and have all the proper licenses in place? Is Bittrex one of those? I don't want to be caught in this type of shit again.

You lost the amount? You mean that you had fiat cash in the exchange and you could not withdraw it before the site was closed down? I don't know if you need to worry about it. The official BTC-e twitter handle claimed yesterday that they will be back within the next 10 days. I don't know it is going to happen or not, but the chances are that your fiat/coins are going to be safe.

People should understand one thing loud and clear, as long as you make use of an exchange that isn't willing register its activities properly, you are at risk of losing everything.

Governments go nuts on unregistered exchanges and services because they are illegal. I made the mistake once, but I won't be a victim another time ~ loss for me is relatively small with just around $300 in fiat.

There is bitfinex. Their liquidity (and fees) are probably better than btc-e was anyway.

It looks like it. It is hard to say with certainty exactly what happened, however it looks like there might be some issue with the SSL certificate, but there is a seizure notice up if you know how to view the website despite the SSL issue.

Just look for ones that require verification and have explanations about KYC and AML laws. I'll do a bit of research later because I certainly don't want to use one that might end up getting shut down.

I don't believe Bittrex is licensed as an MSB (which also requires being registered/licensed in each state within the USA where you operate). Some people assume that since they do not have fiat deposit/withdrawals, that they are not considered an MSB and don't need to be licensed. Time will tell if that assumption will hold....

They can do whatever they want. On Black Friday, they seized Pokerstars and Full Tilt Poker (domains and bank accounts) and forced compliance. In that situation, users were lucky that Pokerstars immediately swooped in to repay everyone, pay all fines levied by the US government and quickly prohibit US customers. Everyone was repaid.

Given the way the indictment against BTC-e was written, it may as well have been a darknet site. They called both the exchange and its customers criminals, and associated the exchange almost purely with black hat, darknet and general money laundering activity. As such, I don't have much faith that they are interested in paying out anyone (if they were able to seize anything at all).

No idea if anything significant was seized. Banks in Mongolia... Okpay in Czech Republic... BTC and ETH wallets were moved today but no idea who moved them (BTC-e or government). But the feds love to claim ownership of "criminal" funds and it sure is strange that they didn't mention anything in the press release.
