Binance actually have Fee for trading
Quote
0.1% trading fee

If you have BNB, you can choose BNB to deduct 50% trading fee(temporary). Details please see
0.10% is quite low fee compared to other trading platforms and that 50% discount when paying through BNB sound quite interesting but I haven't tried their service so don't know how it will actually works. If that mean only 0.05% will be taken as trading fee than I might just get into them to make quick bucks with every price swing.

For right now bittrex is working great for me.

I don't think you have to pay a fee to open a position, but if your order gets filled the exchange will take a tiny percentages. My experienced friends have told me to mainly use bittrex as an exchange because it's one of the most popular and has a decent amount of volume as well. Poloniex is one to stay away from I have been told.

Personally I much prefer bittrex to the other exchanges. They have a fee of 0.25% on all transactions which is a little higher than some of the lesser exchanges but I feel like the greater volume and the more user friendly nature outweighs this. But it is always worth to shop around and have accounts with all exchanges so that if you can save money buying somewhere else you can.

Usually most exchanges charges fees, this is how they operate and there is no way you can avoid it as they will not be able to run the service if they do not even earn a dime from any trades or anyone for that matter.

I suggest just using the trusted ones since all exchanges charge per transaction anyway. Check poloniex, kraken, bittrex, there are so much more, just pick your favorite.

You may want to try Binance. The exchange is quite good though with fewer coins listed as it is a new exchange. Its fee is just 0.1 percent and I think this is the lowest on any exchange. Poloniex is equally good.

Personally I tried Kraken, Poloniex, Bittrex and Coinbase so far and Bittrex is also my favourite. But like some other guys in this thread already stated you should also think about which coins you want to trade.

USDT is nicely traded on bittrex system. Their platform is trusted. You can make ripple trade on bittrex.

If you're an Assian, be careful with Chinese exchanges.

You can also take a loo at poloniex exchange, they have USDT and ripple.

Try to use poloniex or bittrex for having a good experience, they are noob-friendly websites and anyone can do a good trading in there, it is so simple to use. Bittrex has more altcoins to trade than poloniex (since it has only the best ones) But both are good. Personally i like more poloniex since it is the only i use for trading, and i use cryptopia for buying random coins.

Personally I don't use Binance and haven't heard about them. But you have to pay some fees to exchanger when you trade and it's just simple, they got profit from it and cover costs to offer you service.
There are so much choise, usually I use bittrex and bitfinex and like them. You can see exchangers by their trading volume here also: https://coinmarketcap.com/exchanges/volume/24-hour/

I don't know binance is and I don't even heard that there is an exchange that actually don't charge fees for each trade that will be made by their customers. I use bittrex and it's good to have a lot of choice with alt coins when I trade. Don't look for an exchange that will charge you nothing for their service, you must look for one that has good security for your funds there.

Binance has a 0.1% trading fee and i'm not sure where you got the no fees info from.

If you want to purchase XRP then do so on bittrex/poloniex. They have the lowest spreads. I'd actually recommend bittrex over poloniex because their support is currently so much better than poloniex.

If it's a small amount and you don't want to get hassled by identification and all that, use shapeshfit. There will be a fee but it's worth it.

Binance does have a fee and as Yuuto said it is 0.1% as listed on their website. They had no fees for a while but changed their fee structure last month(check here for their announcement: https://binance.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/articles/115001258291-Binance-Will-Charge-Trading-Fees-From-August-25)

So yes, if you were buying XRP using bitcoin on binance then expect to pay a trading fee, although not a big one at all.

Though since binance is located/based in china, i would not use them for large exchanges but rather go to bittrex because of the ongoing speculation on government regulation.
