How do i transfer my coins from the vps server

Please help> so I was setting up a chaincoin masternonde. I transferred 999.9999 to the vps server using my private key. However masternode will not run unless its exactly 1000. My question is how could I retrieve my 999.9999 coins from the vps server? Any help would be appreciated since I'm basically stuck at this point. Thanks for your feedback.

via shell type: chaincoind sendtoaddress <newaddr> <amt>
