Hi folks,

so I've got a dead board on one of my S9's. It was previously running well, but I had to move the machine. On reboot one board has no red light on the top (no power? but have double-checked connectors, and isn't hashing.

Asic status is only the mid-4, and chip temps are 0.

Any suggestions? Can I keep running with 2 boards, and if so is it best to disconnect the dead one from the PSU?

Many thanks in advance!

Time for warranty repair or fee based repair (Bitmain Warranty in Denver, Colorado).

I feared that might be the case - can you keep running on two boards though? Like a T9 ;-)

Yes you can run it with two boards. Get in contact with Bitmain to make a RMA case and remove the board and send it properly packed after they say ok.

Here are some instructions, useful to read https://enshop.bitmain.com/workOrderGuide.htm

Its not rocket science, just email them and get approval to send the defective unit off for repair.
