I already have some bitcoins, i have private key.

i'm not fan of bitcoin cash. but how to collect my bitcoin cash balance ?
is there any safe place to sell my bitcoin cash funds or exchange them into bitcoins?

you can sell bcc/bch on bittrex.
note: deposit option is not yet available. give some time to them to setup up everything.

I'm afraid that you can not wait to sell those altcoins. Who needs them? Not have confidence in them. I feel sorry for you, but hope always dies last. If the opportunity suddenly have need to sell immediately because of wanting a lot and the price will be close to zero.
