Hi,

I am not planning to do anything with BCH. Can I just use my electrum wallet normally for now? If I send some BTC  to my coinbase would that in any way mean I would lose my BCH linked to the same address as coinbase doesn't support BCH?

Basically, I want to make sure I can use my BTC normally using the same electrum wallet that I have been using, and my BCH would be still there if I ever decide to use BCH sometime in future.

I am asking this because in the case of  Ethereum it was a convoluted process to separate ETH and ETC, as I sent some ETH to the exchange and the exchange received both ETH and ETC.
